Hollie Ridley,* Regional Director, Eastern Region’s email explaining why the rule allowing a CLP Chair’s ruling to be overturned by a two-thirds vote by members present no longer applies for CLPs when attempting to break the ban on supporting Jeremy Corbyn.
“These motions are providing flashpoints for the expression of views that undermine the Labour Party’s ability to provide a safe and welcoming space for all members, in particular our Jewish members.
“Therefore all motions which touch on these issues must be ruled out of order.
“This is a ruling that has come direct from the General Secretary on behalf of the NEC and so is not subject to the procedure of being over-turned on a two thirds majority. This ruling is binding.”
*Teddy Ryan, is a well know right winger and friend of the Jewish Labour Movement, Labour First and Progress.
Ryan, is mentioned 20 times in the infamous Leaked Report making it clear that he is not keen on training members but enjoys harassing, bullying and trot hunting, much like the previous RD, Cameron Scott.
On one occasion he is quoted as referring to Norfolk’s only Labour MP with a vulgar expletive, and is also quoted as complaining that he is no longer allowed to bully whoever he wants.
Not only has he never been reprimanded for any of this but he was promoted to his present position and married the boss. He has his own entry in Wikispooks.
