NOT DOING THE GOVERNMENTAL IRONING

Cameron is using Johnson’s current medical condition in order, just like Blair, to get back on the stage. He now says positive things about his character with a touch of lads together stuff about tennis.

In his book his views are rather different. He totally despises his former close friend Gove for letting him down over the referendum and blames himself for ever having thought he was trustworthy.

His thoughts on Johnson are slightly different. That difference is accounted for by the knowledge that no-one ever expected consistent honesty from him. He always has been, to coin a phrase, a stranger to the truth.

My point, however, is that these three, together with Osborne, formed governments without any intention to do any housework. In education Gove was a totally destructive force deliberately ignoring any evidence presented to him by experts. Who was his chief advisor? Cummings.

Osborne took an economy that was recovering and threw it into reverse while blaming everything on Labour. The effect was to widen the gap between rich and poor.

Another effect, of course, was to destroy the foundations of the social and health services. People have died, are dying and live miserable lives because of this very rich man and his mates.

As for our useless prime minister, What good he did as Mayor of London should be attributed to Livingstone. The rest was loud and expensive grand design stuff that went nowhere. He loved the Olympics because he could show off. It was, of course, a Labour project. They had done the ironing.

Gove promised thousands of new ventilators in a few days. The actual number turned out to be 30!

And as for Johnson’s time as Foreign Secretary, he not only made a fool of himself but also fools of us.

These people want top jobs. They want power. What they do not want, however, is to do any work that involves rolling up their sleeves.

I say again, they inflict misery and must, though they won’t, take responsibility for so many deaths.
