Just when you thought you’d finally seen the back of him Nigel Farage says he could form another new party, his third, to take on the government’s “authoritarian” measures.
This comes only minutes after another right-wing commentator, actor Laurence Fox (TV’s Lewis), announced his plans to launch a new Corvid-19 denial party, possibly called Reclaim.
Farage complains the new anti-Covid rules are a threat to freedom, as sceptics fear a new lockdown to deal with the coronavirus.
The former Brexit/UKIP leader told the Times newspaper: “We stood aside for Boris Johnson’s government, now many are questioning why we bothered.”
In a statement, Fox said: “Over many years it has become clear that our politicians have lost touch with the people they represent and govern.
He said he hopes to launch the Reclaim party next month. He is rumoured to have already raised £1 million, the New European reports.
