Out-door funeral pyres looking like horror scenes from medieval plagues are once again a daily feature of life for people in India, as the SARS-Cov2 plague sweeps through the country.
New cases topping 300,000 have been reported daily throughout the week totally overwhelming the authorities who brought it on themselves by allowing religious and political mass gatherings.
Dead and dying are in the streets near hospitals which are themselves overflowing with patients in their final hours for lack of oxygen and ventilators.
