Howard Beckett raising the point that most people on an average UK starting salary would have to work and live for 40,000 years to earn a billion pounds. In fact the majority of Billionaires in the UK are people who have inherited vast sums to help them on their way.
This all just goes to show that not only do we live in a rigged economy away from working class people but we are being sold a lie about how to become a Billionaire on hard work alone – it turns out you need to inhearet a few 100 million to stand a chance!
A newly qualified nurse on £25k would have to live 40,000 years, work every single one of those years & never spend a penny, to earn a billion pounds. Billionaires do not work harder than nurses. The system is rigged. Tax the billionaires not nurses.
