THE DELIBERATE PREVENTION OF MANDLA MANDELA FROM FULFILLING HIS UK TOUR WILL ONLY SERVE TO CAUSE FURTHER ISOLATION FOR STARMER’S GOVERNMENT
With the blocking of Chief Zwelivelile Mandla Mandela this week by Foreign Office officials, the UK government under the leadership of Keir Starmer, have descended to uncharted depths of mendacity and chicanery, even by the historical standards of “Perfidious Albion”.
“If you shake hands with a British diplomat, be sure to count your fingers afterwards”, was the tart comment from Mick Napier of Scottish PCS and the key organiser of what had been planned to be a nationwide tour tof the UK by the grandson of Madiba-Nelson Mandela.
The saga started after Zionist operators in Britain got wind of the tour and embarked on a campaign to smear Mandela as a terrorist sympathiser. Links to groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood were mentioned, quotes taken entirely out of context were presented, which I won’t dignify with repetition here.
However, despite the initial furore from the usual suspects, the story did not spread beyond the initial online piece published in the Times online edition, ahd the organisers continued fine tuning the tour details.
As is the case now, since September of this year, anyone planning to travel to the UK must apply for a visa. When Chief Mandela sent in his application no one thought too much on it. Such things are usually a formality for such a distinguished figure who travels the world speaking on the key issues of our time.
The general consensus amongst the organizing group was that to formally exclude such a distinguished figure on such spurious nonsensical grounds would be involve a diplomatic and political price even this bought and paid for administration would be prepared to pay.
However, one should never underestimate the duplicitous capabilities those who serve in His Majesty’s Foreign Office. The application was denied due, he was told to a “technicality”, that was Tuesday, with Chief Mandela being due in Sheffield on Thursday for the commencement of the tour.
By Wednesday things were becoming serious. Following the rejection, high level ANC figures, we were told, had intervened to enquire of the visa office, what was going on? This yielded a promise to issue and emergency visa within 24 hours. This would have been too late for the Sheffield event but would have facilitated the Friday Manchester gig. But when Chief Mandela went to collect his documents he was informed that there were still issues, and that no definite time could be given for their resolution .
That was it. The UK stretch of the tour was cancelled. Immediate arrangements were put in place for Zoom meetings to replace the in person events. So on Thursday,10th October 2024, at precisely 7pm UK time, Manda Mandela addressed a packed meeting in Sheffield, delivering a speech of power and passion that demonstrating just why the genocidal complicit British state feared him.
A total contempt for freedom of speech and human rights
So what has the British state achieved by this? I would contend only further isolation on an international scale. Already despised across the global south and, indeed by many of their own citizens, this cynical, cowardly, craven act performed by minions at the behest of their Zionist paymasters, has consequences beyond their comprehension.
Statements issued by the South African Coalition for BDS and the group Africa for Palestine pulled no punches. The SABDS was especially forthright in its deploring the actions of the UK, accusing Starmer’s Government of “yet again caving in to pressure from the pro-Isreal lobby”. Furthermore, it accused the Starmer government of showing “utter contempt for freedom of expression, human rights, or any pretense of international solidarity”.
We have yet to have any official response from Pretoria but have no doubt that strong words will have been said. South Africa is a proud nation and this will have been perceived as a gross affront. But then, Starmer, Lammy, his coconut Foreign Secretary and the reptilian creatures that advise them would have been aware of the likely anger, which is probably why no official banning order was issued. Just put it down to bureaucracy, if the worst comes to the worst. “New rules, you know, old boy, teething problems, profuse apologies proffered. Jolly bad show all round. Chortle, chortle “.
But the damage is done. And the tour will take place, Albeit by Zoom.
Like the ripples caused by a stone cast into a pond, the ratifications from this piece of British double-dealing, will spread as the story is picked up across the global south.
One Madela has his been given back his passports by the British officials in SA, he will fly to Ireland to deliver speeches in packed venues, further energised by the British attempts to censor him. He will meet with the Irish President, a further slap in the face for Downing Street.
Because the UK political and media class seem unable to grasp one simple fact: the vast majority of people and politicians across the world do not see the situation in west Asia as anything other than a genocide waged by a rogue colonial state against an indigenous population whose fully justified resistance is then labelled terrorism. A label that the nazis applied to those brave fighters of the French Marquis and, indeed, the Jewish fighters of the Warsaw Ghetto.
Until this is understood at the highest levels, the gulf between this government and the vast majority of its citizens will only grow wider. Until this is acknowledged by those thatto purport to speak for us, the already soiled reputation of the United Kingdom will become ever more sullied and any influence reflected in soft power, will be expunged down the same toilet as the principles our leaders so like to proclaim that we stand for.
