That is a pretty good paraphrase of what General Sheridan said in 1869. He was Commander in Chief of the army of the USA as it stole land and dedicated itself to genocide. And that was after it had broken all the treaties with the indigenous people.
His attitude was pretty general. In 1911 Théodore Roosevelt became President. He had a long history of not only saying much the same but also of deliberately harming the indigenous people.
And today Netanyahu. Not just him. The massacre of the villagers of Deir Yassin in 1948 was by no means the worst of its kind. The gangs who committed the massacre included and were supported by people who went on to become powerful Israeli politicians, including at least one prime minister.
THE ONLY GOOD PALESTINIAN IS A DEAD PALESTINIAN.
That most definitely looks like the belief of Netanyahu and his chums. And as his domestic popularity grows we are entitled to ask if today it applies generally throughout Israel.
I note that after 1948 attempts were made to suggest that the people who were killed should take the blame for their own deaths, just like today all those doctors and nurses in Gaza and Beirut are presented to us as terrorists.
And by the way, who arms Netanyahu and supports him in the UN Security Council?
The followers of General Sheridan.
