We are all entering a new dark age where the psychotic one percent have found a way of control and oppression that no longer needs an open killing war. For the last two decades they have looked to bamboozle us with a succession of wars against: terrorism, drugs, racism, sexism, anti-Semitism and now, the war against “the virus.”
When it suited the “elite” all these and more were accepted means of establishment control. For instance: hundreds of years of blatant and drip fed propaganda was needed against black people. Without it how could slavery ever have been justified? Take away a person’s humanity and all was possible. The war on drugs leaves out the history of the British Empire. In the 19th century two wars were fought to force China to import opium from Britain. As for terrorism, the USA alone has at least 135 military bases in other countries. The world only has around 200 countries in total. All of us on the left should now know that the recent fake anti-Semitism means that people on the left are not allowed to question Israeli apartheid.
To win they need to divide us. For us to win we need to recognise their task and stay undivided. It should be simple. Technology has allowed us an insight into parallel struggles around the world. Then it collected us, labelled us, and crushed us. Communities needed to be beaten back first. Places where the solid working class gathered and exchanged ideas were systematically dismantled. Football terraces, trade unions, local pubs, work places. Now it is the turn of countries. They are no longer needed to be manipulated with cries of patriotism. Sometimes a slightly freer countries culture might infect another’s. This became dangerous for the graspers who have used capitalist power to hijack and cut across even any pseudo democratic opposition.
The way out of this “dark age” is still within us. We simply show solidarity with each other and put fairness above self. Solidarity is not showing support when it is in our interests to do so. Solidarity is recognising when the honourable decision needs supporting. Solidarity cannot be bartered, weighed or exchanged for other goods. Solidarity is not self-interest. Solidarity cannot be bought, bribed or threatened away. Solidarity is not a calculating means to an end but an end in itself.
Liberties or always inherent rights that are taken from us. Rights that are never returned without circumstance or our resistance forces the graspers to return them. United we need to stand.
