What a week Piers Corbyn has had. He was arrested and fined £10,000 for helping to organise the anti muzzle wearing protest in Trafalgar Square last week. He then spent a night in the cells. He appeared on the breakfast time TV show, “Good Morning, Britain” with mad Piers Morgan. He was shouted at live on air by the entire cast of the program. Then this week Piers was arrested again in Sheffield.
We interviewed Piers for THE WORD, see edition 43 on our website. Far from being deterred by his treatment Piers vowed to carry on. He told us that he would continue to take part in protests around the country.
Around 300 people attended the demonstration at 12pm on Saturday, which called for an end to nationwide lockdowns, and to the enforcement of mandatory mask wearing
“We gave Boris Johnson a final warning to prove there was a virus or give up, and as he didn’t respond, he must now give up all the lockdowns,” Piers told the crowd.
Mr Corbyn continued: “Our key message for the public is that the lockdowns are unjustified.
“This is the lockdown to end your rights and freedom, to control you.”
