Aug 19: Bolivia’s regime has ordered the arrest of union leaders @AndronicoRod, @LeonardoLoza18 and COB leader Juan Carlos Huarachi, for taking part in protests that called for free elections, says Vice-Minister for the Interior Regime Javier Issa.
Aug 19: Bolivia’s coup regime closed all state schools for the rest 2020, while allowing private schools to continue online. That has been ruled as unconstitutional by a court in La Paz, following a motion by MAS lawmaker Lidia Patty. The state must now restore the right to education.
Aug 18: Bolivia’s regime is in the process of privatising the state telecom company ENTEL, nationalised by Evo Morales in 2008. Investors can now buy shares in what is supposed to be a state company.
Aug 17: Bolivia’s MAS are presenting a law to ensure there’s no persecution against protesters who called for democracy. Currently, numerous union leaders face criminal charges for organising such protests. Right-wing media has railed against the law, the regime may refuse to sign it.
Aug 16: Esther Morales, sister of the toppled president Evo, has died. The regime will not allow Evo to say a final farewell. On November 9th, the day before the coup, her house was burnt down by a group of fascists.

Aug 15: Bolivia’s regime officials have been found, for the second time, stealing money that was destined for fighting #COVID19. Uruguayan company ATGen reports that Bolivia’s figures, for what they spent on purchasing tests from the company, are vastly greater than what ATGen charged.
Aug 15: Bolivia’s regime paid $4.7million for Covid19 ventilators worth $1.2million. It’s not yet known which regime official organised the payment, or who the extra money was diverted to. It’s the latest case of corruption by the coup government during the pandemic.
Aug 14: The Six Federations of the Tropico have voted to pause protests and roadblocks until the 18th of October, after securing guarantees for elections. They remain alert and will mobilize if the regime delays elections or refuses to leave power after their coming defeat.
