Demonstrations against apartheid in Israel are still taking place across the world. Tens of thousands gathered in cities all over Britain. Even at the FA cup final Leicester players ran round the pitch with Palestinian flags after the match.
The BBC, Britain’s state owned television station, refuse to acknowledge the depth of the problem as they all but ignore the outcry. Back in Palestine the Israeli military continue to destroy hospitals and apartment buildings. Last week a media centre was destroyed in a deliberate attempt to hide the truth from the world.
Extremism will always breed extremism. Anger will breed hatred. All conflicts allow the barbaric side of human nature to surface. At the end of the event in Rochdale the last speaker talked about ” a British Parliament made up of 650 Islamic MP’S.” Happily someone had the sense to turn his speaker off as he tried to whip the remaining crowd into a frenzy.
Those who do not remember their history are destined to repeat it. In 1918 the over harsh terms imposed on the defeated Germans at the end of WW1 led to the hatred and genocide of WW2. The Holocaust seems to have led to extremists Zionists trying to inflict their own terrorist regime on Palestine. Let us all hope that the mentality of hate is stopped from flowering in the Moslem leadership of today.
