Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer willingly squandered £1 million of party money in a bid to track down who had released a highly embarrassing top secret party report.
Instantly called the Leaked Report, it detailed how top party officials and right-wing MPs plotted to LOSE the 2017 general election and undermine then popular leader Jeremy Corbyn.
The extent Starmer went to is revealed in another secret document obtained by investigative reporter Asa Winstanley of The Electronic Intifada
The 851 page ‘Leaked Report’ named the guilty, quoted their racist comments in their WhatsApp plotting and showed the illegal diversion of party money away from target left wing seats to secure but favoured right-wing Labour MPs during the election.
Starmer was livid that the report had been leaked as he replaced Corbyn. He and his placeman general secretary David Evans dictatorially banned all discussion of the Leaked Report’s contents by the membership and threatened legal action against other publications which discussed the report’s scandalous contents and published links to it, such as this.
But despite all these efforts the facts did get out, even though the mainstream press and TV totally ignored it. The named Labour staff took legal action for invasion of their private plotting.
Party lawyers said the staff would lose in court but even so Starmer rushed to pay them off, reputedly £600,000, before any trial was held.
To soothe the outrage among members Starmer’s dictatorship he also launched an inquiry into the Leaked Report with emphasis on who leaked it. This so-called Forde Report was to have reported back in six months; Two years later the report still is not ready and is now dubbed the Godot Report after the play Waiting for Godot, about a character who never turns up.
